Jacob Davis is a Partner and Managing Attorney of Nalls Davis. Jacob's practice primarily focuses on business law, estate planning, and real estate and fair housing law.
Jacob represents a variety of clients in litigation, regulatory, and transactional matters. Additionally, Jacob is a leading attorney in the area for matters arising under the Fair Housing Act. Jacob has provided guidance and training to businesses, employees, employers, housing providers, investors, property management companies, and tenants regarding Title VII and Title VIII of the Civil Rights Act, and he has conducted over 150 formal and informal investigations into alleged wrongdoing. Jacob is also a FreeWill Fellow where he provides a national nonprofit with legal updates pertaining to estate planning in Ohio and Tennessee.
Previously, Jacob led the civil rights division for a government organization where he directed civil rights enforcement efforts and developed regulations and policy guidance on emerging civil rights issues and trends. Additionally, he has worked at a large multinational law firm and clerked with a Fortune 500 insurance company and the University of Dayton Office of Legal Affairs. Prior to law school, Jacob worked in the consumer finance and insurance industries.
Jacob is a proud resident of Dayton and enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter.
